Heavenly Poetry
A Tiny Voice
Poem: At night, at night,
The stars shine bright.
The room is quiet, much to my fright.
In the midst of the silence I hear a voice,
A tiny voice so small,
As if there's no sound at all.
It says to me one simple clue,
"1 Thessolonians 1:2."
I reach for my Bible to read the word,
And this is what I heard,
"We always thank God for all of you,
Mentioning you in our prayers."
I think back to Bible class that day,
When God was showing us the way.
I start to drift back to sleep,
While thanking God that His love is so deep.
