Heavenly Poetry
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Drugs, guns and violence,
are children's pleasures of today;
It's up to us adults,
to get on our knees and pray.
Drugs are being induced,
to keep our kids so high;
They're running from reality,
and many of them will die.
Our kids are being taunt,
by those full of ballistic rage;
They're hunted down like animals,
and forced in a gravely cage.
Schools should be a place,
to learn and have some fun;
But kids of today,
learn how to use a gun.
Just ask yourself why,
schools are in despair;
The reason is plain to see,
We've taken away the Lord's Prayer.
