Help Desk (Q&A)
Is abortion bad? continued...
Is it better to take the life of one of God's creations in order to aid your own personal goals or needs at the time? I remind all who ever have to answer this question, that God said to wait until marriage to have sex. Sex is a beautiful thing, but should be reserved for marriage. A lot is involved when you decide to become sexually active; pregnancy, disease, and death are all consequences. I urge you to resist temptation and save yourself until marriage!
Start your day off with this prayer:
"Father, my society is obsessed with sex. Give me wisdom. Remind me of what is right and wrong. And grant me the grace to live a pure life in a very impure world. I want my friends and the world to see that sex is best when it is reserved for marriage. In Jesus' name. Amen."
Helpful Tips:
For someone thinking about Abortion: Read Genesis 9:5 Murder is forbidden.
For a friend of someone thinking about Abortion: Read Proverbs 24:11-12 Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death; don't stand back and let them die. Don't try to avoid responsibility by saying you didn't know about it. For God knows all hearts, and he sees you. He keeps watch over your soul, and he knows you knew! And he will judge all people according to what they have done.
For someone who has already had an abortion, God can forgive you: Read Isaiah 1:18 No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if your are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as wool.
