Where does
hope come from?
Hope comes from the Father. Psalm 71:5 reads, "O Lord, you alone are my hope. I've trusted you, O LORD, from childhood." Psalm 39:7 reads, "Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you." You may be asking, How can I trust God with my Hope?
Where can you go to reinforce your hope? The Bible.
Try to focus on the future, especially your eternal future which will give you energy to press on in your daily tasks. Philippians 3:13-14 read, "No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.
